I purchased this Pampered Chef Spring Form pan thinking it is exactly what I needed. I used Mom' s pan once to make a cheesecake and was sold. I had to have one of may very own. Now cheesecake is awesome. And it is pretty easy to make. The greatest thing is you can make it ahead and freeze it. If you need a great dessert that can be made days ahead of your event, give cheesecake a try. Now there is one problem, the cheesecake always cracks after I pull it out of the oven. So Martha Stewart, if you are reading this blog "What am I doing wrong"?
The other day I decided there had to be something else I could use my pan for--so I created this ice cream dessert! Does anyone have any recipes for a Spring Form pan? I'd love to try them.

Hi Julie-
I put foil around the bottom of my spring-form pan and place it in a water bath to cook in the oven. It usually doesn't crack. I have a great choc chip cheesecake recipe that is super easy to make if you want it.

I am sure if you would bring me over a few samples of some of the things that you have made in that spring form pan, i could come up with some brilliant ideas for new recipes for you... i just need some incentive, ya, know... ;)
Yum...that looks sinfully delicious, Julie! What a good idea to freeze a dessert made in a spring form pan. Thanks for the tip. On your way home from Pam's, you could swing by our place with a few samples as well :)
Julie do you have my Heath cheesecake recipe? I love it. It also always cracks for me though. It's the only thing I have used my pan for so I'll have to get some of these recipes from you. Hope the weekend was nice!! I was looking for pictures. :)
