An apron for Becky

Last week my cousin's wife Becky called, wondering if I would be interested in making her an apron. Well, yes!!!! That is like asking a shopaholic if they want to go to the mall.

She was so kind. She gave me very few limitations. She asked that it have a least two colors and a large pocket, other than that, whatever I wanted was great with her.

So I wasted no time--I ran out picked up some very colorful fabric. Snip, sew and pressed and this is what I came up with.

Becky was thrilled and so sweetly let me take her picture to post. Thanks Becky!! I love projects like this.

THAT my dear is a lost art! You made it so cute though! Kind of like crochet...I get called "old" when people see me doing it, but hey, I come up with some really cool stuff!
