Before I could pull out onto the road the skies opened up and it was like a snow storm. But it was hail. In minutes the ground was covered!!! I have never seen anything like it. Unfortunately, I didn't have my camera along so I have no pictures from the storm; however, we drove straight home and grabbed the camera. Check it out:
This is what was left on the truck once I returned home. My dad would have been so proud--the first thing I did when it started hailing ---was find a parking spot. I can still hear Dad saying, " NEVER drive in a hail storm." I was never sure if that was because he was worried about me or his car?

Wow that's crazy! I can't believe all the hail that was still on your car after you drove home. It must have been a lot! Glad you remembered your dad's advice! :)
wow! we've been missed on both sides by hail storms this week!! Pretty odd!
